    Excellent Product - Saves My Teeth

    Since I started using the 6DS Mouthpiece, my bench press has steadily moved up toward 400lbs. at age 72. My dentists in the past have always inferred to me that I “grinded” my teeth at night while sleeping while, in reality, the grinding actually took place while I was lifting weights. The 6DS Mouthpiece has allowed me to safely stabilize my mouth and teeth without any grinding. As a result, I feel much “tighter” while performing lifts.

    An absolute must to break a plateau

    The 6DS is a must if you need to push yourself to lift more weight or knock out a few more reps. It is crazy the difference this mouth guard makes in my daily lifts. I highly recommend this product 40 bucks well spent!

    Absolutely love it!!!

    I’m a powerlifter so this helps me lift big weight. It’s important that I have a mouthpiece. I chipped a tooth a few years back and bought a cheap mouthpiece. After seeing Brain Shaw wear this mouthpiece, I had to invest and I’m glad I did. This is my second mouthpiece. Definitely worth the money.

    Be careful

    The purchase was fine and the company did nothing wrong. However, if you do buy this one as you get the unit ready to fit your mouth be extra aware of the thin radiused bar that holds the two sides together and make sure it doesn’t bend and touch the rest of the mouthpiece otherwise it will all just melt together. That’s what happened to me. However, I am still using the product and still very happy with it. Just not sure if I am getting the most out of it. Oh well. I’ll do better next time.

    Its A Good Mouthpiece

    I've been a competitive power lifter for several years and I'm always looking for that little edge over the competition. When I saw the hype over this mouthpiece of course I was a little skeptical. But seeing all the Pro athletes promote this mouthpiece I decided to try it out. Unfortunately I should have stuck with my gut . As an avid mouthpiece wearer, when I train, this is a great and sturdy mouthpiece. However, I myself and my training partner , who also wears one, have not experienced the phenomenal results as advertised in the promotional videos. Bit disappointed but I should have known better, if its too good to be true it probably is.

    One of the best decisions I've ever made.

    Been using New Age for 3 years now. Not going to try and sell anyone on strength gains. All I know is that since I've started using them I've been able to lift without any pains in my sinus cavity or at the base of my head. I can drink, breathe, and talk without having to take it out of my mouth. Lastly, I don't have to redirect my focus to my mouth and worry about clenching so hard that I chip, crack, or break a tooth. And I have ushered a few people that love them as much as or more than I do.

    It works great! Molded to mouth good and stays put. Don't care for the design on side of guard cause it is wearing off and getting into my body.

    This mouthpiece comes with easy to follow instructions on fitting your mouthpiece before use. I have chipped my teeth while lifting before from grinding and no longer worry about that.

    I used to find myself clenching my teeth a lot while lifting, and having to stop myself from doing so out of fear of breaking my teeth. I also have a lot of pain in my right should from previous sports injuries which has hindered my lifting in the past. After using the 6DS mouthpiece, I have been able to push through the pain easier, times when I would bite down during a heavy lift I do so without hesitation. Even if this is a placebo effect, I don't care. I use it with every workout, and find myself feeling more stable, strong, and confident while lifting especially when i go heavy.

    I rarely write more than 3-4 word reviews but... Apparently, I chomp down extremely hard when I lift. I began to have jaw problems, even to the point of being unable to open my mouth no wider than a spoon's width (to my husband's delight lol). Got the 6DS mouthpiece out of desperation and found it was easy to mold (having had little or no success with other self molding mouthpieces). Within a week of using the 6DS, the pain in my jaw was nearly gone and I could actually once again open my mouth (alas my husband's joy was short-lived). HIGHLY recommend. As a side note, the bar on my squat seemed to level out-I tend to lift crooked-which was a huge plus!
